Robotics for everyday life
A robot at home must first make sense to people.
We are exploring design concepts for behaviour that is understandable, interruptible and appropriate to a specific home situation. This is an early analytical and design stage, not an available home robot product.
Everyday situations instead of broad promises
Early ideas focus on limited scenarios. Examples include a prepared welcome for a visitor, simple handling of light familiar objects or a removable appearance accessory only in a manufacturer-permitted area. None is presented as a verified function.
People remain in control
An adult would start and supervise a scenario. People present should understand what is happening, be able to decline an interaction and know how to interrupt it. These are design questions, not proven robot capabilities.
Privacy and uncertain states
The concept needs to account for an unavailable function, an unconfirmed command and a clear purpose and authority for processing personal data. Specific data flows and controls can only be defined for a supported platform.
In preparing this concept, we use ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 27001 principles as references for work quality and information protection. We record intended use, assumptions and risks, and review design changes. If household material is needed, we would first agree its purpose, the holder’s authority to share it, access, retention and a secure transfer method. These preparatory rules do not mean that Altamente is certified or that its conformity with either standard has been assessed, and they do not replace safety verification of a future robot.
What has not been established
This is not a care service, medical decision-making, child supervision, lifting people or unsupervised autonomous operation. A compatible platform, physical performance, safety, price and availability of a home product have not been confirmed.
